Over spray on your vehicle can come from a variety of different sources. The most common cause is painting in close proximity without proper precautions taken to limit the distance that aerosol paint can travel. This can occur when painting buildings, decks, fences, vehicles, or any other object where a paint sprayer would be used. This would also include spray paint graffiti from a vandal.
Paint over spray is easily identified by sight if it is a different color than your vehicle, or by touch due with its rough, sand paper like texture. Over spray is also rarely contained to a small area. Once it is in the area, it will cover the vehicle from top to bottom.
It is hard to estimate an over spray job without seeing the damage. This is due to the fact that there are many different types of paint and coatings that could possibly be on your vehicle. Also, since over spray gets EVERYWHERE, we have to identify what types of products can be used on which materials for your particular vehicle.
