You’re going to spend a total of 10 full days in your car this year just going back and forth to work. Then there is trips to the grocery store, picking up and dropping off the kids, and if you’re lucky, maybe even a few date nights and a vacation.
Point is you are going to spend a lot of time in your car in 2018. So lets make the most of it. Here are 3 new years resolutions to improve your traveling this year.
Keep It Organized
A glove box full of old mail and a console full of pens you “forgot” to give back to the bank is not getting you anywhere faster. Car manufactures spend a lot of time in development to make the most of the interior space of your vehicle. Each compartment in your vehicle actually has a specific purpose and looking into what they are meant for make actually save you time in getting from A to B. At minimum, try to come up with a system that allows you to access things safely and easily.
Make Maintenance a Priority
It simple comes down to a ounce of prevention is worth a pound off cure. Vehicles aren’t getting cheaper. Tell Siri, Alexa, or Google to remind you to check your tire pressure, change your oil, and top off your fluids. If you don’t know when or how to do these things, check your owner’s manual or follow our Pinterest Board on Car Ownership for diy hacks and tips.
Keep it Clean
I am sure you saw this one coming but maintaining a clean vehicle with detailing services is not just important to it’s appearance.
- Detailing improves resale value
- It protects the surfaces of the car
- Increases driver comfort
- And prevents bacteria, odor, and allergen build up
Taking advantage of our Season Pass is a great cost effective way to improve your travels this year and to have an overall healthier driving experience. But even just regular washing and vacuuming can greatly improve driver and passenger comfort.
These 3 resolutions are great ways to improve your health and enjoy your time in the vehicle this year. They may even help you keep to that going to the gym more resolution!
